Bears make two roster moves |
The Chicago Bears announced Tuesday that they have placed running back Khalil Herbert on injured reserve and waived defensive end Kingsley Jonathan.

For the season, the 24-year-old was having an impressive season with 108 carries with 643 yards (6 ypc, which ties for 1st of RBs in the NFL), and four touchdowns. He also had 62 receiving yards and a score this year. The Bears selected him in the sixth round of the 2021 draft out of Virginia Tech. Jonathan appeared in five games playing 35 snaps total this season with the Bears. He had two tackles in the loss against the Lions on Sunday. He was claimed by the Bears this season after the Bills waived him. He was an undrafted free agent from Syracuse.
