Chicago Cubs prospect Christopher Morel has started off his time at Triple-A in style.
In his first game with the Iowa Cubs, Morel hit a triple to center field wall, showing off his speed and power at the plate. It was a really nice hustle play by Morel, as many would have been happy with a double on the play. Through 2 innings tonight, Morel is 2-for-2 with a triple, single, two RBI, and two runs scored. Morel, a 23-year-old third baseman, is considered one of the Cubs' top prospects and will be back with the big-league before you know.
