Bulls News: Schwarber's HR back on top of Wrigley Field's video board |
Chicago Cubs fans will never forget left fielder Kyle Schwarber's home run in the 7th inning of the Cubs' Game 4 win in the National League Divisional Series last season against the St. Louis Cardinals.
The crushed home run landed on top of the right field video board and now it is placed back there for the 2016 season according to Cubs president of business operations Crane Kenney on WSCR-AM 670 on Monday morning. The Cubs announced this past Friday that Schwarber will miss the remainder of the season due to full tears of his right ACL and LCL and a severely sprained ankle. The injured second-year superstar will make the trip to Wrigley Field and will be introduced with the rest of his teammates for the team's home opener. In 2015, Schwarber hit .246 with 16 home runs and 43 RBIs in only 69 games in his rookie season.
