Russell Wilson really likes the Bears OL and Matt Nagy |
The Seattle Seahawks aren't officially shopping franchise quarterback Russell Wilson YET.
However, according to ESPN's Dianna Russini, they are listening to other teams, “calls made from other teams inquiring have been answered.” Recently, it was learned that Wilson had the Bears as one of his four favorite destinations if he is traded alongside the Saints, Cowboys, and Raiders. It appears that Wilson really likes the idea of playing in Chicago. "I expect the Bears to at least take their shot here," ESPN's Jeremy Fowler said on SportsCenter Thursday. "A source told me Russell Wilson likes that they have an emerging offensive line, a good solid offensive-minded coach in Matt Nagy, and they have an intriguing market in Chicago." It should be interesting to follow closely in the next few weeks as all of this plays out for Wilson.
