Play for $1 million dollars on Opening Day

To celebrate the start of the 2023 season, the Chicago Cubs and Budweiser are bringing back the "Play for Opening Day" batting practice event for fans, where 50 lucky fans will have the chance to win one million dollars! "Play for Opening Day" will take place at Wrigley Field on Monday, March 27, from noon-3 p.m. CDT.

Want to play? Just head to Gallagher Way on March 27 at noon CDT, where you'll receive a scratch-off card. If your card is one of the 50 lucky winners, you'll get three chances at bat to hit a target in the ballpark to win amazing prizes, including the grand prize of one million dollars!

Fans must be 21 years of age or older to participate and must be present to win the opportunity. In the event of rain or snow, "Play for Opening Day" will be held in a limited format with modified prizing. All 50 fans who participate in batting practice, regardless of whether or not they hit a target, will receive a pair of tickets to Opening Day so good luck and we will see you soon!
