Report: Former Chiefs quarterback works out for Bears |
The Chicago Bears worked out former Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Chris Oladokun on Tuesday, according to multiple reports.
Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 first reported it. Oladokun has two Super Bowl rings to show for his two years in Kansas City but didn't play in any regular season games. During this preseason, he completed 22 of 33 passes for 250 yards, a touchdown, and two picks for the Chiefs. He was released in the final cuts in August. He was a seventh-round draft pick by the Steelers in 2022. During his senior season at South Dakota State, he passed for 3,164 yards with 25 touchdowns and only seven inteceptions, earning All-Conference honors. The Bears are likely trying to add more quarterback depth to their practice squad in case any injuries occur during the season. Update: Several other players were trying out on Tuesday: offensive lineman Tremayne Anchrum Jr. offensive lineman Austen Pleasants running back Tony Jones running back Anthony McFarland Jr. running back Jake Funk
