Chicago Bears depth chart released, Nathan Peterson listed as No. 2 QB |
The Chicago Bears have released their first unofficial depth chart of the regular season on Tuesday as they prepare for their upcoming rivalry game against the Green Bay Packers.
Veteran quarterback Nathan Peterman is listed as the backup quarterback to Justin Fields. "We're sure glad to have [Peterman] back," Bears head coach Matt Eberflus said recently. "He's really good for that room. Him and Justin learned the offense together, so to speak, so they're speaking the same language. They understand it really well. I think it's good to have him in the room." Lucas Patrick will start at center with Cody Whitehair will begin the season as the No. 1 left guard. Other interesting takeaways include D'Onta Foreman is currently the No. 2 running back over rookie Roschon Johnson, and Velus Jones Jr. is the primary kick returner. At the same time, Trent Taylor is the No. 1 punt returner. #Bears week 1 depth chart.
