Bears add former Panthers DT Bravvion Roy |
The Chicago Bears have added some depth on the defensive line by claiming former Carolina Panthers defensive tackle Bravvion Roy.
In a corresponding move, the Bears announced they waived defensive lineman Donovan Jeter. Roy played 45 games, including 15 starts in three seasons in Carolina. In 2022, he had four pressures and 11 tackles. PFF gave him a run defense grade of 48.6 and a pass rush grade of 60.9 last year. The Bears had the top waiver priority and quickly scooped him up after he was waived yesterday. He was a former sixth-round draft pick out of Baylor. #Bears roster move: We have waived DL Donovan Jeter and signed DL Bravvion Roy.
