He has allowed one-or-fewer earned runs in six of his last seven Triple-A outings since July 30, posting a 2.38 ERA (6 ER/22.2 IP) with a 0.93 WHIP during the span. In six appearances with the Cubs this season, Wicks has suffered one loss with an 8.71 ERA (10 ER/10.1 IP) and eight strikeouts. In his previous stint with the Cubs, he threw 2.0 innings, allowing one run, on August 26 and 27.

Hodge, 24, is 2-2 with two saves (in five opportunities) and a 6.27 ERA (23 ER/33.0 IP) in 36 games with the Cubs this season.
