More talent is headed to the Northside!
Chicago Cubs top prospect Pete Crow-Armstrong is being called up by the Cubs, according to ESPN. PCA is likely to be activated on Tuesday as the Cubs are trying to shore up their team for the stretch run toward a playoff berth. He has 7 hits in his last 10 at-bats for the I-Cubs. Overall, he is hitting .283/.365/.511 between Double-A and Triple-A. For Iowa, he was hitting .271 with six homers, 22 RBIs, 10 steals and an .829 OPS in 34 games. PCA is a great defender, and there is a ton of space in the outfield in the upcoming road series against the Colorado Rockies. He was drafted in the first round by the Mets in 2020 and was traded to the Cubs in the Javy Baez deal in 2021. More to come on this breaking news story.
