QB1 is up in the air at Halas Hall.
Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields is currently uncertainly what management will do with him as they hold the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft. Fields told the media after the loss to the Packers that he has no regrets. "That decision is not in my hands," Fields said. "All I can control is what I did do. I gave it my all. Whether it's here or not, I have no regrets." Fields appreciates all the support the Bears fans have given him since he was drafted. “I gave it my all. So whether it’s here or not, I have no regrets," Fields said. "To the City of Chicago, I love y’all. I appreciate the fans and the support from all the Bears. In case this is my last rodeo with y’all, I appreciate y’all for everything.” Bears general manager Ryan Poles was non-commital on what they will do with the No. 1 overall pick from the Carolina Panthers. "We're working from a position of strength and just going to continue to keep an open mind and look at all options," Poles said to ESPN 1000 recently. "I'm excited for that opportunity." Fields hopes management believes he can take this team to the next level. "At the end of the day, this is a business. They have to make the tough decisions. My job is to go out there and play my best. It would mean a lot to get that confirmation from them and just really send a message that they trust me to lead this team and be the quarterback."
