Roster Move: Bears activate Kyler Gordon off IR |
Great news for the Bears defense.
The Chicago Bears announced on Saturday that they have activated defensive back Kyler Gordon off of injured reserve ahead of Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings. The 53-man roster is now full again. He missed the last four games recovering from a broken hand. This will be his first action since Week 1. "We're excited where he is," coach Matt Eberflus said Friday. "That nickel spot is a big spot for us, and he's done a good job with that. [There's] a lot of things in there to do, and he does them well. He's done a good job all week with that. He's a real positive guy, so it's always great to have his energy out there as well. He certainly brings that passion." Gordon will likely start against the Vikings tomorrow as he didn't have an injury designation this week during practice. He has a tackle and a pass deflection this season. Travis Homer, Roschon Johnson, Khalil Herbert, Terrell Smith and Equanimeous St. Brown were all announced out for Sunday's game. His instincts at the LOS are so good. It could be a gamechanger. pic.twitter.com/Dje8Im0Xhq
