Bears announce players out against Jets |
The Chicago Bears announced their inactive list for Sunday's game against the New York Jets.
The big news is that franchise quarterback Justin Field is out of today's game with his separated left shoulder injury. Fields has passed for 1,642 yards with 13 touchdowns and eight passing touchdowns with a QBR of 54.8. He also 122 rushes for 834 yards and seven scores. Veteran quarterback Trevor Siemian will be the starter for today's contest and Nathan Peterman will be the backup signal-caller. Running back David Montgomery will be the emergency quarterback. Other players on the offense that are out today include receiver N'Keal Harry, offensive linemen Alex Leatherwood and Ja'Tyre Carter. Defensively, three players are out with concussions with defensive backs Kyler Gordon and Jaquan Brisker, and linebacker Sterling Weatherford. Currently, the Jets are -4.5 point favorites over the Bears for Sunday's game at noon CT (FOX) at MetLife Stadium.
