Bears legend Steve McMichael undergoes blood transfusion

Chicago Cubs legend Steve McMichael was admitted to the intensive care on Thursday as they are dealing with an infection (MRSA) that will require a blood transfusion in the next few days.

“We are asking for your prayers to get Steve through this difficult time,” the family said in a statement. “Steve and his family and close friends believe in the power of prayer. Thank you for your love and continued support for our Mongo.”
